It’s only been one week since Sledgehammer Games first announced Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, the new entry into the famed Call of Duty franchise. The game will be released across multiple platforms including the Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. The new entry into the series boosts a new software, allowing for the visuals in the game to reach a new level not seen since Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
The trailer only released last week, showing a series of new characters jumping around buildings and bridges with Exo-Skelton Suits. The trailer on YouTube has already surpassed one billion views and continues to rise with each passing seconds. Analysts already have stated that the new entry into the series will sell a total of one billion copies and that every other entry in the series will continue to rise in profit, resulting with two billion dollars in sales by the end of this generation.
The reason for this is because Activision, the owners of the Call of Duty franchise have three different developers working on a call of duty game at the same time. Each developer releases a game every three years, thus by allowing for Call of Duty Games to be released on a yearly schedule. The three year development schedule has been added in order to better the visuals of each game, better the story lines and better the multiplayer mode.
Next year fans of Treyarch, the developers behind World At War and the Black Ops series will be releasing a new Call of Duty. This means a new zombie mode with new visuals!
